Dmitry Nozdrachev graduated in 1998 from Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatory as a clarinetist and a conductor. In 2007 he graduated from St-Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory(under Mikhail Kukushkin). He has taken part in various master-classes, including lessons with Yuri Simonov and Ricardo Kappasso.



He was awarded a "Solti Foundation" grant in 2004 and Muses of Petersburg" grant in 2007.In September 2005 Dmitry became a laureat of the "Philharmonic Debut "programme , organized by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra(voted first-prize winner by orchestra members).


Working activity

Since 2004 till 2009 Dmitry conducted at the St-Petersburg Conservatory Opera Theatre. He has been principal conductor of the St-Petersburg State Music Thetre "Karambol" since 2006. As a guest conductor he conducted the Rostov State Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Rostov Concert Wind Band, the St-Petersburg Conservatory's Chamber Orchestra, the St-Petersburg TV&Radio Orchestra, and also in State St-Petersburg Chamber Opera.
