Roksana KENZEJEVA

Roksana Kenzejeva was born in 1988 in Riga. She started to play the piano at the age of six, till 2009 studied at special secodnary music school named by Emils Darzins, and from 2009 until 2015 she studied at the Jazepps Vitols Latvian academy of Music, with famous professor Arnis Zandmanis (Jakof Flier student).

She received Bachelor's degree in 2013 (marked a 10 on a scale of 10) and her Master's degree in 2015 (marked again 10 on a scale of 10).

Roksana also studied chamber music.

Took part in masterclasses with Dmitry Bashkirov, Dominique Merlet, Alexey Lubimov, Alexandr Bonduriansky, Phillipp Moll, Lilya Zilbershtein, Andreass Frolisch, Leonel Morales, Boris Berman, Niklas Sivelov and other musicians. Participated in Crossing keybords - Baltic countries piano project, Aurora winter festival 2016.

Jazeps Vitols International Piano competition - special prize for excellent Jazeps Vitols composition interpretation (2014)

In 2012 Roksana during her studies founded chamber ensemble "Latvian SOUND Quartet" (oboe, violin, cello, piano), who won at several competitions -

The main prize at competition organized by Blackheads brotherhood in Riga and Bremen and took opportunity to play concert at Blackheads brotherhood in Bremen (2014)

The main prize to took part at European Chamber Music Teacher association congress in Cyprus (2013)

Grand prix Rising stars (2013) International Classic music competition, Riga, Latvia

The best Jazeps Vitols Latvian Music academy student chamber ensemble (2013) 2nd place

Latvian SOUND Quartet won the project competition organized by "Latvian concerts", which give the opportunity to perform concerts all over Latvia (2014, 2015)

Quartet realized concert tour in Estonia (2016). Also Tallinn Concert Hall invite Latvian SOUND Quartet to have concert on September 2016.

 

Roksana played concerts as a soloist and in ensemble at the one of the main concert houses in Riga, such as: Great Guild, Latvian Radio LR3 live stream concert, Spīķeri concert hall, Latvian National library, Latvian academy of music and elsewhere in Latvia, also in Germany, Austria, France, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Cyprus and Russia.
